The fully licensed Elliot’s Bistro at Alexandra Headland is a great place to eat or just have coffee for breakfast, lunch or dinner six days a week.

The restaurant is owned and managed by a husband and wife team with friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. Elliott’s fresh tasting menu is the result of sourcing as many local products as possible.

Here’s some suggested items off the menu:

Breakfast special: Mango Fool with fresh mango, kiwi & passionfruit, layered with coconut yoghurt, peanut butter granola, mint and lime.

Dessert menu: Dark Chocolate Mousse with home made honeycomb and fresh strawberries

Coffee treat: Passionfruit Melting Moments or the amazing Snickers Bars!

Roast Night: Try their great Thursday night roast menu 3 courses $ 45 or 2 courses $35

"Recently stayed there for three weeks with my daughter and 2 grandies. Late check in details exacting especially after 20hrs flying. Excellent front office staff. Very clean rooms, gardens and pool areas. Cleaning and ground staff very friendly. Fantastic Manager Ria, provided correct advice on local markets, things to do and places to eat. We had a minor issue with our oven and it was rectified promptly and with constant communication. Another receptionist, who embarrassingly I forgot the name of, provided invaluable assistance with a transport issue and almost daily advice when approached by us...."

“Spacious self-contained accommodation with scenic outlook over lagoon and to the sea. Great facilities in room with tennis and lovely pool and BBQ area. All rooms have balconies and some have special rooftop BBQ areas. Close to beautiful Alexandra Hedland beach which is great for walking as is the lagoon. Friendly, efficient staff”

"We stayed (with 2 friends) at the Mirage for a second time and found it to be the best. The staff are so efficient and professional and the service excellent. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every bit of the accommodation. We had a top floor room which normally had access to a rooftop barbeque area but due to some work being carried out up there, we could not access the area. But unasked, we were granted $30 a night off our tariff and a $20 voucher for a local cafe was included. All in all, a very pleasant stay."

It is our third family holiday to The Mirage Alex and always is consistently amazing for us. Such high standard in cleanliness pool is perfect always clean and crystal clear! Staff are always accommodating and friendly. Rooms are oversize and have all we need for our family holiday. Short walk to the beach, park and restaurants at Alexandra and a short walk to Maroochydore and Mooloolaba. We will come back to stay again!!!!

Really enjoyable stay with the very clean and spacious apartment . Adult pool , kid pool , spa and lap pool were clean and well maintained as well as the bbq area . The Reception was very friendly and efficient thank you 🌹 Good location too.. Look forward to staying again soon 👌
